Helping Family

There are many ways you and your family can help other family. Sometimes often than none, we find those who are in possession of drugs and/or alcohol to be in need of help or is out on the street without a home. Some people believe that these people are self-induced or somehow that the family is at fault.
Those who have had the opportunity to get to know these families who are in need of help have discovered that sometimes people are working as hard as they can and still cannot afford a place to live. While the circumstances surrounding each family's housing crisis is different, there is one universal truth - these parents are deeply concerned about their children and truly believe that they can, with our help, provide a better life for them.
Only families that are drug-free and have removed themselves from their drugs and/or alcohol addiction are better suited to help others in need of help by explaining to them the risk they must take for a better life since experiences are valuable lessons. Families must generally have very specific goals they would like to accomplish during their time with us, such as completion of a degree or trade school and a job with higher wages. We would like families to achieve self-sufficiency through education so that they can be productive and be a contributing members to our community.
