In the book of Acts the believers met daily praying and eating together sharing in all they owned, and God added to the Church those who would be saved. Jesus said His Church was to make disciples in the entire world. He also gave a commandment to the church that we were to love one another, and then the world would know we are his disciple. We believe the local church is the way this is accomplished.
Everything Jesus did, He did because He loved His Father and He loved those who became believers in Him. The word ”believe” in the context of the Bible does not mean an intellectual understanding as so many have thought. It actually is to have faith in Jesus Christ. This faith causes us to completely give our lives to Him and receive His forgiveness for our sins through repentance knowing He is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to God the Father except through Him.
Our hope is that all will come to know, the wonderful Love that God bestows on those who love Him, the power to cleanse us of all our sins, and the new life given to us.
